Hello dear smoothie lovers! 🙋🏻 Fancy a plum smoothie that is something else than the usual banana+plum or apple+plum combo? Today, I did, so I decided...
Green smoothies are very often associated with health. Why? Generally speaking, green foods are nutrient-rich, low on sugar and full of dietary fiber. The green color comes from the chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is known for its positive impact on blood circulation and its detox capabilities. Green foods are also excellent natural sources of phytonutrients.
What kind of green foods are there? Well, there’s a bunch of vegetables, fruits and nuts that are green. Here is an (incomplete) list of green foods:
Artichoke, asparagus, apple (green), avocado, basil, beans (green) broccoli, brussels sprout, cabbage, celery, chard, cucumber, fennel, eggplant (green), grapes (green), lettuce, leek, lentils, lime, kale, kiwifruit, mint, olives (green), peas, pears, pistaschios, and watermelon.
We want to provide our readers with beautiful photos of smoothies. Our green smoothies are not only healthy, they also look great. We believe this is very important, since we sometimes tend to make, rather irrational, eating decisions based on what foods look like. So, we believe that beautiful photographs of our green smoothies will help you get that extra inspiration that some of you might need :) Also, we do hope to inspire people to take photos of their own green smoothies. And, if possible, we’d hope to see what you have accomplished, so feel free to share your smoothie pictures with us. You can find us on the following social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
