Hello again! 🙋🏻 It is time for yet another delicious smoothie recipe…are you ready?
Today I want to present to you my latest and greatest smoothie recipe, the Cranberry Tangerine Pomegranate Smoothie. This smoothie is so bright in taste and color that it can’t help but be the highlight of any day ☀️
Smoothies made with cranberries and pomegranate are excellent for breakfast. I love having vitamin-rich smoothies in the morning because they energize me instantly and just make me happy 😊 If you follow this recipe, the cranberry taste will be dominant, but the pomegranate and tangerine give it a sweeter aftertaste. If you don’t want the cranberry taste to be so strong, simply add less of it. Personally, I still like it exactly the way it is presented in my recipe 😉
Cranberry Tangerine Pomegranate Smoothie
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1 pomegranate
- 2 tangerines
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- Deseed the pomegranate (see video below). Leave some pomegranate seeds for decoration and put the rest in the blender. Note: Remember to wear an apron! It is quite difficult not to get at least a little juice sprayed on while deseeding, so take the necessary precautions 😉
- Blend the pomegranate. If you don't want any hard pomegranate pieces in your smoothie, you might need to blend for more than three minutes. Personally, I don't mind getting one or two bigger chunks of a pomegranate seed in my smoothie, so I don't usually blend for more than two minutes.
- Now it's time to prepare the remaining ingredients. Peel and clean the tangerines, then place them in the blender together with the cranberries (but leave some cranberries for decoration).
- Blend until smooth. Now your smoothie is ready to be poured into a glass or jar. Decorate with cranberry and pomegranate seeds. Enjoy your smoothie!

Need help deseeding your pomegranate? Check out this video by the excellent Tami Allen! All you need is a wooden spoon, a bowl, and a small knife. With these instructions, you will be able to deseed your pomegranate in less than 2 minutes!
